Pinot’s Pals Petcare is dedicated to looking after your pal when you can’t. Whether for regular daily walks, the odd day, weekend or longer when you have to be away, or as a drop in service for housebound pets, our aim is to make life easier for you and happier for your pets.
Pinot’s Story
Our name is inspired by our much loved family pet Pinot, who Rachel found abandoned on a road in France during her time working there as a tour guide on a luxury barge.
While driving through the forests of Fontainbleu she spotted a black animal in the trees miles from anywhere and stopped to check it was ok. A beautiful black dog came straight to her and they bonded instantly. Having tried to take him back to his owner, it became clear that he was unwanted and had been abused, and so Rachel adopted him, which meant keeping him on board the barge with her for the rest of the season!
Rachel then spent the next six months with Pinot in France to avoid him having to go into kennels in England for the quarantine period.
Pinot and Rachel were inseparable, and much more than just a dog or a pet, he was a best friend.
